  Went in to get my front tooth repair a few months ago only for the dentist to give the other one a huge scratch across the font that was very visible. They let me walk out of there without saying anything and upon finding out I had to call and schedule to come back and get it repaired. Now I had an appointment this week only to find out they don't have me scheduled even though I have been receiving reminder emails about said appointment.

  Have had nothing but positive experiences for both my wife and I at Rollins Family Dental. Been going there for a couple of years now and have worked with several of the hygienists, all very kind and thourough in their work. They really take the time to explain everything in detail, educate me on different things they use and do during the cleaning and why it’s helpful (even things that I’ve never seen at other dental offices), and answer any and all questions I have afterwards. Dr.David Canty is also great, he has never been pushy into any decisions and always explains all of my options to me first. He has helped transform my mouth over the past two years to the healthiest its ever been. Always kind, detailed, knowledgeable, and painless.

  Be careful!!!!.....I've been going to Rollins Family Dental for over 15 years. I inherited Dr David Canty (he is the owner now)when Dr Levy retired. During a simple extraction in March he carelessly and improperly used a dental instrument (elevator)and broke a hole into my sinus , cracked off a filling, and killed the adjacent tooth. The gross negligence and inadequate care that followed is endless. The fluids that I drank came out my nose and the food that I ate ended up In my sinus. He told me it would heal on its own and even when I complained of a bad smell/taste in my mouth he said it was probably a piece of "rotting food and to rinse with peroxide" . After 4 months of taking antibiotics, sick to my stomach from infection, countless visits to his office , and an extraction site that wouldn't heal, he finally agreed to do a cat scan and realized this was " out of his area of expertise " . He referred me to an oral surgeon who refused to perform the needed operation to close the sinus fistula until the adjacent damaged tooth was fixed. I had a root canal and the bucal flap surgery done the same week. It was one of the largest holes the surgeon had ever seen. A piece of my cheek and roof of my mouth were used to close the hole. It was a painful recovery with swelling and bruising. The bone will never grow back and my mouth will never be the same .
  Dr David Canty took care of the costs for the surgery and root canal. I spent over $800.00 on antibiotics, steroids , and pain relievers which he said would be reimbursed by his insurance when I sign the release form. I also needed to see an ENT for the chronic sinusitis which resulted from the infection. After months of telling me he wanted to make things right, make me whole again, and would get me the insurance information he passed me off to his father. I called his father Dr Tim Canty last week and told him I need to be reimbursed for my medical expenses. He told me he "can't do that" and "get a lawyer and sue". Dr David Canty is now ignoring my calls.
